Victoria and Albert Museum: British Glamour Since 1950′s

The Victoria and Albert Museum fashion galleries are staged to tableaux the private and public moments of British Monarchy Fashion. From Princess Diana and her beautiful iconic “Elvis” dress by Catherine Walker to Daphne Guinness in Alexander McQueen at last year’s Met Ball, designers have been targeting British monarchs and royalty to wear their works of art since the concept of marketing to the masses of other women that may be able or want to be able to dress like them.

Oriole Cullen and Sonnet Stanfill, curators of the exhibit which runs through January 6, 2013, ensured the newly renovated fashion galleries will be an exhibit that the public, with London in the spotlight this summer, will most definitely be visiting.
