Trussardi Spring/ Summer 2013 Ready-to-Wear Show presented during Milan Fashion Week

The runway collection showcased 35 womenswear looks.

Leather was a major fabric, which made up much of the apparel. The collection emulated a New York State of Mind with it tailored business suits, and downtown Manhattan set design. Oxfords and head accessories were styled on various fashion models. Colors for the collection included a muted yellow, white, blood orange and shades of indigo.

Designer Umit Benan is known for his menswear fashion lines, and this has influenced the Trussardi Ready-to-Wear line. Additionally a theme of “girl wearing boyfriend’s clothing”, appeared to factor into the looks.
