The famous Castello di Amorosa, in the Napa Valley, hosted an unforgettable Halloween Ball.
The event featured a haunted house experience, fortunetellers, food, dance, merriment and of course wicked cool Halloween costumes.
For this All Hallows’ Eve Ball, attendees dressed in their finest, freakiest and most hilarious ensemble. The highlight costumes from the event included: Cleopatra, Disney Princesses, The Joker from Batman, Star Wars’ Princess Leia, Iron Chef personalities, witches, Admiral General Aladeen from “The Dictator”, flocks of sheep, nurses, SWAT teams, pirates, a Modern Marie Antoinette, King Tut, Bob Marley, I Dream of Jeannie’s Jeannie and the Flintstones.
Fortune telling was held in the Castle’s chapel, which was the ultimate pagan festivity. Entertainment included musical arrangements by DJ Tripp, and dancing in the ballroom. Another room in the Castle featured a screening of the classic horror film Halloween, starring Jamie Lee Curtis. The spookiest and most thrilling Halloween festivity was the Haunted House. One had to walk through a dimly lit passageway of barrels and dungeons through a smoke filled underground chamber to experience screaming psych ward patients in straightjackets and prisoners locked in the authentic dungeons.
The final treat of the “ghoulish” extravaganza was the tombstone-lined red carpet exit out of the Castello di Amorosa. A spectacular event in one of the most awe-inspiring Castles in the World was the perfect setting for the Halloween Ball.
