American fashion designer Kara Laricks presented her Spring/ Summer 2013 Collection at Pier 57.

The line consisted of wearable apparel for women. Fifteen looks made up the fashion show presentation. Menswear seemed to be a point of reference. The line even showcased a tux blouse, a bow tie shirt and a cummerbund party dress!

Trends included: rompers, collared dresses and knit tees. The collection insinuated effortless beauty because of its clean lines that created a polished femininity. Geometric shapes were incorporated into the womenswear as well. Standout colors: ivory, hot coral and navy. Hair was styled by PRIVE and MAC did make-up looks.
